Wulpol: Automotive Technology

“Wulpol” Automotive Technology specializes in the manufacture of products for the most renown bus manufacturers.

It manufactures rubber and metal goods for the Polish and foreign market. In the nineteen eighties and nineties we were the leading manufacturer of rubber goods for tram cars undergoing maintenance. We manufactured rubber goods for the Swedish market for many years. We had gathered experience from the beginning of our operations, that is since 1983, and in 1989 we established cooperation with the bus manufacturer which currently operates under the name Solaris Bus & Coach in Bolechowo near Poznań. We also manufacture rubber, rubber and metal as well as metal goods for the bus manufacturers: Autosan in Sanok, AMZ in Kutno, Solbus in Solec Kujawski and MAN in Sady near Poznań. We also specialise in the manufacture of the engine suspension, that is engine and transmission mounts. We manufacture and deliver steering side rods, tie rods and lateral control rods as well as rear suspension mounts.

We produce bus anti-roll bars for the front and rear suspension. We have developed the anti-roll bar for the front suspension for CNG-powered Solaris Urbino 12 bus. This is our innovative solution.

In addition to our manufacturing activities, we have rendered designing services since 2003. We apply our own solution for the front and rear suspension. The designs cover the modern independent suspension for 5.5 and 7.5 tons load-bearing capacity. Due to the application of lubricant-free bushings it is maintenance-free.

These are our innovative customized solutions for the production of alternative-fuel busses. We apply our own solutions for the dependent and independent rear suspension for the electric city bus, that is the bus powered by batteries, with electric energy from an external source, such as, for example, the trolleybus and for the so-called hybrid.

It is worth noting that our innovative solution for the bus structure applies the state-of-the-art robotic welding technology. The structure is light and very precise. The entirety is suitable as external cladding of modern construction materials.
